Editorial policy
Shilajit Journal is an independent editorial magazine, not a store. Reviews and research come first; commerce follows and is disclosed. Every article names its author and, on health-topic pages, its medical reviewer. Every claim carries a citation. Every review page carries an FTC affiliate disclosure block above the H1.
How we cite research
Source hierarchy, highest to lowest: peer-reviewed RCT, systematic review or meta-analysis, cohort study, case series, mechanism-only research, expert-consensus statement. Blog posts and brand claims are not counted as sources. Where evidence is limited, we say so explicitly using an evidence-grade chip (Strong, Moderate, Preliminary, Insufficient).
How we review products
We buy each product ourselves. We request the current lab certificate. We score against purity, potency, value, and transparency. Verdicts are written before any affiliate CTA is placed. Commission size does not influence review order.
How we disclose commerce
Every review and buying-guide page carries an FTC affiliate disclosure block above the H1. Every outbound affiliate link uses rel="sponsored nofollow". Sponsored placements, when they appear, are labelled Sponsored and separated from editorial reviews. The full affiliate policy lists every program we participate in.
